There will be a table by the entrance of the pool where suits can be dropped off and picked up.
Also, DO NOT donate your team suit. Pledge forms can be handed in at NorGwyn.
What: Swim for the Girls is a project to raise money for breast cancer. Boys will wear girls' bathing suits over their own suit when they race breaststroke. All proceeds will be directed to families affected by breast cancer through the breathing room foundation.
When: Thursday, June 26, 2014 when Nor-Gwyn swims Towamencin in the breaststroke events.
How: Boys will need to sign up to swim breaststroke. They must supply their age and swim suit size. Girls can then sign up to"donate" a swimsuit to a boy for the race. Girls and boys swim suit sizes are approximately the same. All swimmers can sign up to participate at http://www.tinyurl.com/swimforthegirls. Swimmers must sign up by Wednesday, June 25 by the end of practice so that the coaches can schedule the swims. Once signed up, swimmers can download a pledge sheet and collect donations to be turned in at the start of the meet on Thursday. Those that choose to participate (both boy swimmers and girls sponsors) are asked to raise at least $10. There will be a table by the entrance of the pool where suits can be dropped off and picked up.
